Why You Need Coaching
Do any of these feelings sound familiar?
- Overwhelm
- Lost/Confused
- Dissatisfied
- Low mood
- Uncertain/self-doubt
- Ill at ease
- Stuck
Perhaps you have searched for the answers within yourself? Talked to those whose opinion you value?
Yet still you cannot work out what to do to feel differently?
Life is too busy. You have no headspace to think. You put up with the status quo and keep doing what you think you ‘should’ do all the time. You haven’t found your true path (…yet!). You need to go deeper within yourself to find the answers that are right for you.
This is where coaching comes in.
Coaching Can Help You To:
Move past uncertainty, self-doubt and overwhelm
Conquer your inner critic and feel more confident
Make choices based on your own inner wisdom
Coaching will provide you with the support, skills and tools you need to be able take the next right step for you on your path.
Imagine…
- Reconnecting with yourself, learning to prioritise you and your needs…
- Having a new approach and moving forward with certainty, courage and ease…
- Feeling more motivated, showing up as the best version of you at home, at work – and most importantly with yourself.
Through coaching you will learn how to access your own ideas and inner wisdom to make your decisions from this place and not from the place of ‘should’.
This is how you’ll find your path and make goals for living a life closer to your dreams.
This is how you will thrive.

• Boost Your Wellbeing
• Unlock Your Potential
• Find Your Path
“There were lots of useful learning points uncovered during my coaching sessions. Developing trust in my own decision making was an important one, along with recognising past positive mood triggers rather than only negative ones, and building more positive experiences into my routine. Building acceptance that it is ok not to follow the expected path, or the ‘norm’ and instead to make my own path which best promotes my wellbeing. That change is scary but also an opportunity for better things.“

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from Coaching?
You’ve probably heard of coaching, but you may not know what it means.
At one end of the coaching spectrum, you get sports coaches who encourage, train, and support, and are telling you what to do to achieve your goals. (This is not what I do!)
At the other end of the spectrum, coaching is more like therapy. The coach listens, holds space, and asks lots of questions of you to get you thinking differently and seeing new perspectives. I’m more at this end of the spectrum.
As your coach, I believe all the answers are inside you. You just need some help to access them to be able to take the next right step for you and draw the next part of your map. I will share ideas, tools, practices, and resources with you that I know will help you on your path to your goals and ensure you thrive.
Is your coaching only suited for people with experience or careers in the Caring professions?
No – I do a lot of my work with GPs, Doctors and Caring Professionals, however, I also work with any professional in a high stress job (anywhere around the world thanks to Zoom). Regardless of their profession, my clients often share common goals: to get clarity on their future vision and achieve living a life closer to their dreams.
What professional training and credentials do you have?
- Accredited Foundation Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching
- Diploma in Transformational Coaching with Tom Dillon
- Completed Dare to Lead Course for Coaches with Melissa Hague (who was trained by Brené Brown)
- Completed the Playing Big Facilitators Training with Tara Mohr
- Graduate of Newcastle University: MBBS with Second Class Honours with Distinction.
- MRCGP with Merit.
What is the format of your coaching sessions?
Typically, coaching sessions are conducted by Zoom or in person and last for 50-60 minutes.
I deliver the sessions from my Coaching Cabin, a real Airbus 320 that’s landed in my garden in County Durham (next destination to be decided by you!). So you’ll be climbing aboard either in-person or virtually!
Coaching is tailored to meet your needs. Some clients request a short flight of coaching to get help with one specific issue, while others benefit from the longer-haul support to get them to a totally new destination.
During our discovery call we will discuss my three coaching packages and you can choose what is right for you to move towards your goals.
How do I know if you’re the right coach for me?
I offer a free 45-minute Zoom call that allows us to meet and explore your needs. During this time, you’ll tell me about your goals and the challenges you are facing right now. I will answer any questions you have about coaching, and we will both decide if it feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to book further sessions, as it’s vital you find the right coach for you.
